"I would put an outdoor mixer tap on instead of the 2 separate taps. This way you will be able to regulate the water temperature."

"Either cut a thermostatic blending valve in to the internal pipe work, or remove outside taps, and replace with a thermostatic bar mixer, depending on pipe centres."

"Would recommend fitting a thermostatic valve
The hot and cold pipe are installed to the thermostatic valve, which then goes on to the tap and the temperature of the water is set at a desired temperature."

"A thermostatic mixer valve or try a 'y' hose connector to both taps"

"Hi, you may struggle to find an outside mixer tap as I have in the past as I wanted to do the same for washing my dogs. The easiest and cheapest solution is to get a rubber shower hose or hose pipe that fits into both taps so you can mix hot and cold that way, and get the desired temperature of water coming through the shower head/hose

You can buy a ‘Y’ piece from most DIY shops to create your own.

Hope this helps
Thanks"

"Hi there is also an outdoor mixer tap you can buy instead of the two taps ."

"You can add a temperature mixing valve inside, (hot and cold connect to the valve and you can set the temperature of the outlet)
Or if its for washing dogs, just get the old style shower head which connects onto the hot and cold pipes and you use it same as a mixer tap."

"So if you put the mixer tap there, then the cold and hot water will be controlled"

"Install a blending valve to get mixed water. You only need to have 1 tap installed.
