Peeling paint on bathroom ceiling
The paint is from the ceiling of my bathroom. This is mostly above the bath and shower area, the rest of the room is ok. I think it is because it is a new-build and contractors have just put cheap paint directly onto the plaster and not primed it. Would I need to peel all the paint off and start from scratch, or can I just scrape it off in the affected area, prime that area and then paint over the entire ceiling with new paint?

I got magnolia plasterboard walls in flat bathroom and kitchen painted good job but lounge wall gone patchy streaky after 3 coats it's like plasterboard is sucking in the paint.
