Eclectic gallery wall
What would be a good style of gallery wall to include for an eclectic interior design? Any ideas for what the gallery wall should display to fit in well with eclectic decor?
Decorating a newbuild
I'm going to be moving into a new build soon, and it's been decorated (quite poorly in parts) in brilliant white matt emulsion. This wouldn't be an issue if I didn't have 3 young kids, that love smearing things on walls. Is it wise to paint over the emulsion with washable vinyl silk, or will it damage the fresh plaster? Cheers.
Satinwood enquiry
If I apply a good undercoat on my doors will satinwood be a good choice as the final coat or gloss for example will it be less likely for the paint to scratch easily as I have dogs who sometimes scratch if the door is closed on them and what brand of satinwood would come highly recommended
Should I gloss or leave wooden finish skirtings / staircase
In the progess of getting the house done, full refurb. Do you think it is best to have treated wood skirtings and stair case or have them painted and a different colour on the wall to offset? House it rather modern but I do want it to age well!
