I am looking to having the wall (2.80m) between existing kitchen/dining room removed (requires a steel & a C/H radiator move) and a 6.72m2 'U' shaped, 15 units (incl 3 tower) kitchen (customer supplied) fitted. Should I contact Builders or Kitchen fitters or would I need to separate the two jobs?
Is it possible to make a kitchen into a more round space, by adding to the walls in such a way that it becomes re-designed as a rounded kitchen space as opposed to something that is more rectangular in shape? Are there many practical issues to consider here? Thanks for your time.
How far apart should I place the fridge-freezer and cooker in the kitchen? Are there any regulations or any guides to their placement?
I can't afford to replace my kitchen units but 2 of my drawers have started to fall apart. The strip on the side of the drawers that go into the runners have fallen apart. Is there a more affordable way of repairing them?
Do you need certified professionals to either replace a cooker hood (external) and/or cooker hobs?
I am planning on renovating kitchen bit by bit in my new home as it is outdated. Where do i start? Do i replace cabinets first, re tile wall first , paint walls first, re tile floor first replace cooker first or add new dishwasher first?
I'll be moving to a new property shortly. The seller will be removing all kitchen appliances so good opportunity to rearrange it. Is it possible to reuse cabinets & worktop counters already there, rearrange them, get matching new ones if necessary? They're relatively new (no more than 4 yrs). As it is there is a very wide range style cooker & fridge which is outside of kitchen (kitchen is an extension). I'd like an elevated oven, fridge brought in to main kitchen and induction hob (current cooker is gas hob). Is this possible?
To have a new kitchen fitted for an area of about twenty square metres, approximately how long will a full replacement job take in total?
What's a good ratio of cupboards and drawers to have in a kitchen? Drawers seem to be almost half of the base units in some showrooms.
Do I HAVE to use a cutting board on any kitchen surface or are there some, where it’s not necessary? Or could there also be a safety concern in not using one?
