My gas hood is not working

My hood stopped working from suspected engine failure, I have had this hood installed 5 years ago and I cook a lot at home which resulted in grease build up in engine, how much it's cost to repair? Please

"Hi, unless it's a very expensive hood it's probably cheaper to replace the whole thing. They can be sourced fairly cheaply these days. Consider ducting the hood to an outside wall if possible (assuming this hasn't been done) this should ensure trouble-free operation in the future."

"Replace, not worth repairing. With the prices of the appliances at the moment not feasible investing in an old one. Hope this is helpful."

"If it's not expensive, I would recommend replacing all of it, it'll be cheaper."

"I’m sorry you cannot repair it because it doesn’t have parts for hood"
