My RCD keeps tripping and I can't find anything obvious that's doing it. Most of the appliances have been unplugged and I still can't figure it out. The entire system trips and not just a single fuse. Does anyone have any advice on how to find the fault?
Hello All, I want to have garage consumer unit but not sure where to start. Does any one have any advice as to what I should be looking for?

Hi I am wanting to buy a new electric oven. At the moment I have a electric oven, but when it gets to a high temperature it fuses the house electrics. I only have a normal double socket. Would I need a cooker point installing, and if so, how much roughly for that and to install the oven.
Hi I wondered how much it would be for 4 new spot lights in my bathroom? I have a single light at the minute
Is it possible to have double socket on wall that has no sockets previously?
We are replacing a 3kw single oven with a 3.6kw single oven. The current oven is simply plugged in. Can we do the same with the new oven? If not how much will it cost to convert the existing socket to one suitable for a 3.6 kW oven?
I want to run power to my sectional concrete shed for lighting and sockets. Would I need to have the building insulated/lined with plywood first?
Hi, I'm a tenant and can only have smart switches installed in the property I'm renting if: 1. The install is made by a professional with a certificate that would be used for insurance purposes 2. The switches are removed after the tenancy with another certificate that everything is back to the initial condition. Costs are totally prohibitive for an installation that will be temporary in nature like this. What I would like to have answered instead would be if it is possible to make all the installs myself, go through the pain and time waste of ensuring everything works and only pay for the labor of having a qualified electrician come to check and certify that the install was made to the best UK standards. (Then, the same in reverse to verify and certify the removal and reinstall of the initial switches. Many thanks for your help!
I'm switching from a gas to an electric cooker and found there is no electric point for a cooker. How much would it cost to get one? Fuse box is in the same room if that makes any difference
