cost and time frame of replacing three to four light switches in my home

About three or four light switches need to be replaced in my home. How much will this cost and approximately, how long will these replacement jobs take if by performed by a professional?

"This would cost around £30 to replace if switches are provided by the customer and would take no longer than an hour to do"

"If it's really just replacing the light switch facias then it should only take about an hour, plus the cost of the facias. about £80 probably."

"If the light switches are like for like and the wiring isn't impaired etc then swappping them for new etc isn't a big deal

You may have a call out charge on top of the service

Why not switch the lighting circuit (6amp) off at the distribution board and do it yourself, its very easy to do..."

"A standard replacement of 4 like for like light switches will be relatively quick. Shouldn't take more than half an hour.
A typical rate would be 80 pounds, excluding materials.
If replacing light switches with dimmers, there could be extra work necessary if backboxes aren't deep enough, in which case extra work will be required, hence higher cost."

"HI Karen. My estimate price is £140 including the switches. Depending if cables needs extending or not. On average as for time it will take roughly about an 90 minute maximum."

"Labour cost would be £35 per switch and around 1 hours work. Providing there's no faults on the radial."
