Septic tank repair cost
Our septic tank's backing up into the garden and the emptying company reckon the baffle's collapsed. What do repairs like that cost?

Hi we have a 1900 house, drainage survey has stated rain water is entering the sewage pipe to our cess tank. We have never had a problem with over flowing or anything. I don’t know where we would put a soakaway . Is there anything that allows this as drainage system is so old?

Building bespoke cover for drainage system
I have a bare concrete floor in a ground-floor side extension, and there’s a drainage system in place (likely for moisture/water runoff). The room is the coldest in the house, even with a radiator. I’d like to install laminate flooring, but I want to know the correct way to prepare the floor in this situation. Can insulation be added under the flooring to help with the cold, and if so, what type would be suitable over concrete with potential moisture? Would I need a damp-proof membrane, specific underlay, or a subfloor system? Are there any concerns about moisture affecting laminate in this kind of space? Or would a different type of flooring be more suitable? Please note this is for a wheelchair user and a carpet is unsuitable.
DIY garden drainage systems
We live at the bottom of a hill and our garden is often very soggy. I was wondering if there are any simple drainage systems suitable for DIY installation that could help improve it? We've checked for leaks and tried improving the soil already.
Soakaway in lawn
I have an old soakaway in my garden it is blocked and leaking out of the drain by the back door , is there any way of either sucking it out or going in the other way .
