How to remove the rubber end of drain rod from manhole pipe

Is it come for the rods ? 
if so It may need jetting out if it is up the lane

It should still be attached to the rod so let the air out and pull it back through. If not you might need a camera to pinpoint where it’s stuck.

You would need a retrieval tool, you can buy a odd jobs tool from screwfix and have a go but normally you would need a camera and jet the plunger back up using a jetter, or push it further down into a larger sewer  and retrieve it from there

To be honest the only thing to do is put a camera down with a pole and grab.

I have a grabber to remove rubble and might need to jet rod end out.

You can rod it out but sometimes they have to be dug out.
