How much would it cost to paint a ceiling after skimming?
Is it possible to tile to steel and if so what is needed? Can I do this DIY or would I need to hire a professional?
What's involved with a deep clean of a bedroom? I have a good idea about bathroom and kitchen deep cleans, but not sure about what would be involved with a bedroom.
How much it would be to remove one chimney stack that's not in use, install new lead flashing around shared chimney and concrete the flaunching? This installation is on a shared chimney stack. Additionally, how much would it cost to re-render where there is evidence of some cracks? Many thanks.
Hi, I have a problem with my shower valve. The thermostat is stiff, thus is difficult to adjust the hot/cold water. From producer website the product is described as: "twin outlet triple control concealed thermostatic valve with ABS coverplate" (http://www.purabathrooms.co.uk/catalog/showers/showers-concealed-shower-valves/SQTCV). I need an expert opinion, but I assume the work needed is: - either check if there is any lime scale and try to clean it - either change the showervalve is the limescale cannot be removed. Anybody able to help me with this? Thank you, George
I am currently looking at looking to purchase a property and in the survey report it was spotted that the window Beads are on the outside of the property. Does this mean that someone can remove the windows to gain access to the property? Would such a defect void a contents insurance policy? Are there any means of securing the windows even if they are they other way round?
Could I use radiator enamel spray paint on tiles? It's only a small area.
Please can you tell me if I need to find a general builder to widen concrete steps or someone with a specific skill/trade? Many Thanks.
I don't use my old TV aerial, so I'm thinking of getting rid of it as it looks tatty. But my friend says I should leave it up in case I need it in the future. Is it wise to remove it?
Hi, we are currently looking to buy a house and we were wondering how much it would cost to plumb in a dishwasher. There is only space for a washing machine in the kitchen currently, we want to know before we consider buying the house how much it will cost on average to plumb in a dishwasher either next to the washing machine or on the other side of the kitchen, which I assume would involve lifting floorboards, as this will affect our offer on the house Many thanks
