    Outside tap fitting

I’m looking to fit an outside tap to the rear of my mid terrace property. The water main comes in from the front. I could spur it off the mains in the downstairs loo and run it under the floor of the hallway and lounge but obviously this means pulling up the carpets and floorboards. I also think it might need the sink and vanity unit removing to gain access under the floor in the cloakroom Would it be inadvisable to spur off the mains feed in the loft, put an isolator in the loft and run the pipe work down the outside of the house?
