I’m trying to prepare walls ready for a plasterer to come in and skim coat. I’ve taken off wallpaper back to the old skim coat, and the adhesive is a nightmare to get off. I’m not confident there won’t be residue left, so was going to apply gardz to solve that problem. Can a skim coat go straight over gardz, or will I need to PVA/SBR/Blue grit as well?
I have a new build house with a little slope, I want to put the garden on 2 levels, bottom will be paved and the top I want to build a retaining sleeper wall with artificial grass on top. The right side of the garden will be fine to put soil up against as it has a brick wall to retain the bottom of the houses next to us but the other side the left hand side has a fence running along the slope. So If I build a retaining wall, all the soil will be up against it. How can I make sure I don't damage the fence? Thanks

Hi - I've often found in commercial premises that the sealant used around showers and kitchen worktops is thicker than the standard sealant you might purchase for domestic premises. I'd describe the product as a rubberised solid type sealant once set. Does anyone know what this product is and where it can be purchased? Thanks
