    Hi, we haven’t got a radiator in our kitchen and are hoping to have one added. We’re just curious how easy/difficult that is and how much/ little work it would take. We know we would have to lift the floors in the kitchen, but we’re wondering what other rooms flooring would have to come up if any? Either side of our kitchen is a bathroom and dining room.     Gas Meter Relocation

    We are going to have our existing garage demolished to make way for a 2 story extension, however the incomming gas and electricity supplies and meters are in the garage and need to be relocated. I've just received a quote to have the supply and meter relocated, including the digging of the trenches, and it's just over £1,000 for 7.5 meters of pipework. On the plans in the link below, the current gas meter is located where the Utility room will be going, on the left hand wall of the garage, where the utility room sink is. The suggestion was to move it to under the left window of the new porch as there is an existing wall there, of the porch which will be replaced. I'm looking for ideas as to how I can reduce the length of the new gas supply if at all possible.
