    What pests chew wires?

    What's the likely culprit for a chewed aerial wire in my loft? I live in an old semi-rural cottage on the outskirts of Norwich, so I guess it could be a number of animals. I don't go into the loft much as it's difficult to access but I thought I'd have heard something up there and I haven't.
