How long does it take to fit a new boiler?

We're getting our old combi replaced with a new combi in the same location. Should we expect to be without hot water all day or is it usually quicker than that?

"Typically, a combi boiler swap shouldn’t take more than a day. However, if your existing boiler location doesn’t comply with current regulations, the installer may need to carry out additional work, which could extend the job.

As for water, it’s normal to be without hot water for the duration of the installation. Cold water is usually restored fairly quickly once the new boiler is mounted and connected, but hot water won’t be available until the system has been fully commissioned and tested."

"No, in theory, you should be able to swap a Boiler and at least get the hot water going the next day"
