  • hourly rate of kitchen fitters in Northern Ireland

What is the hourly cost of hiring a kitchen fitter in Northern Ireland? Does it depend on the town/city/locality you live in? Or is it more or less the same everywhere?

Do large floor tile need extra prep of special adhesive?

I've found some 120x120cm marble effect floor tiles which I think will look good in our kitchen as there'll be less grout lines. But do large tiles need any extra prep or special adhesive?

cost of hiring a plumber to fix a leaky shower head in Manchester

I am based in Manchester and I’d like to have a leaky shower fixed. It’s a mixer shower and it appears that the leak is not major or with the pipes, that is. The leak seems to be an issue with the shower itself. I’d like to hire a plumber to fix this problem. How much might this cost? Does it depend on what type of issue is present? How long might the job take to fix it? Also, should I hire a plumber to come out and take a look first?

    Spalling Warning Signs

Hi, We are looking at houses and a couple in the home reports mention spalling brickwork. Is there anyway when we view a property to know how bad/deep the damage goes? Are there any warning signs we should look for? For example, one today had a section about 1m by 4m that had three bricks that were missing their fronts. Should we just assume it would be a complete replacement job? Can this affect the structural integrity of the house as well? Thank you!
