What is the hourly cost of hiring a kitchen fitter in Northern Ireland? Does it depend on the town/city/locality you live in? Or is it more or less the same everywhere?
I've found some 120x120cm marble effect floor tiles which I think will look good in our kitchen as there'll be less grout lines. But do large tiles need any extra prep or special adhesive?
Hi there I recently brought a sika waterproofer from tool station , I needed to attempted to seal the bricks outside my property , due to it being a end of terrace the corner gets hit by the bad weather , so seem to get mould from the cold wall , so I googled few things and it seemed that waterproofer would be best idea as it fills all the gaps up and water seal apparently does not , but on use after diluting it’s made all the walls go white , I assumed it would if anything make it go shiny like pva type thing but it has not , so what’s best thing to remove this now and best thing to use as I was thinking of attempting water seal next ? Can anybody help with this cheers
I would like to fit a new carpet by myself for a living room of about fifteen square metres. How long will this job take altogether?
I have some roof windows that i need somebody to look at to see if they need replacing or simply cleaning and updating the seals and caps etc - can this be done by somebody without experience?

I am based in Manchester and I’d like to have a leaky shower fixed. It’s a mixer shower and it appears that the leak is not major or with the pipes, that is. The leak seems to be an issue with the shower itself. I’d like to hire a plumber to fix this problem. How much might this cost? Does it depend on what type of issue is present? How long might the job take to fix it? Also, should I hire a plumber to come out and take a look first?
How can I double check that a painter or painting company is both licensed and insured? Do they tend to also come with references?
The soakaway for my property isn’t working anymore? Any idea why this might be? How can I diagnose the problem and if I figure out what the issue is? is it something that I could fix on my own or is it the sort of job that I should hire a professional for?
Hi, We are looking at houses and a couple in the home reports mention spalling brickwork. Is there anyway when we view a property to know how bad/deep the damage goes? Are there any warning signs we should look for? For example, one today had a section about 1m by 4m that had three bricks that were missing their fronts. Should we just assume it would be a complete replacement job? Can this affect the structural integrity of the house as well? Thank you!
