Whats needed to fix this plastering job

Ive recently had a plasterer in to skim my media wall. Had to get him back as there were a few holes etc and he came back and sorted. Everything looked alright but when it came to painting I realised that all the edges inside the alcoves are essentially squiggly and you can visibly see high spots as well. Is this an easy fix?

"Without a picture hard to tell but, I would imagine sanding it all back down unfortunately, seems as if the edge of the trowel wasn't used in the corners when drying out giving you that sharp cornering within your alcoves. Probably easier to use a filling knife once sanded all down and see if you angle the filler in on a tight coat sand it down again, primer it and give two thin coats of paint use a small angle brush too when painting in."

"There will always be some slight imperfections after plastering. For the edges use some painters mate caulk and a little bit of filler for the high spots. Sand them down once dry to get the finish your looking for. If it's not right fill again until your happy."

"You’ll need a power sander for plaster as it’s not easy to rub down, then fill out and re sand as required"

"It could be an easy fix if the player allows sanding but if the plaster doesn’t allow for sanding, you might need to skim that section again"

"It sounds like the plastering wasn't up to standard. Easyfill and sanding back or possibly a re-skim"

"It's not ideal. Being as though it's a media wall I assume it was plasterboard the plasterer was plastering?

If the spots are on the edges I assume that the plasterer has skimmed the wall too thin so you can still see the angle beading coming through.

If this is the case (hard to say without photos) I recommend skimming affected areas again."
