  • Can I drain a radiator?

I have one leaking radiator (rusted at the base) but my local heating engineer can't come out to it for a few weeks. Can I drain it while I wait for a repair? I have a combi boiler, so I assume it's possible?

    Flat roof and window flashing

Hello, I've got a flat roof on a garage connected to the house that needs replacing. I'm looking to replace the felt with rubber roof. However, there is a window with a terrorcota sill on the house that sits just above the existing roof and along the wall is a bellcast next to it. Any advice on how to install the flashing that will works with the window and materials needed is much apreciated. Thanks

    Cracked Ceiling

I’m having my living room plastered, I’ve noticed some massive cracks on the newly plastered ceiling, the person doing it has advised he will be putting some tape on the cracks and replastering the cracks. I’m very worried as this crack is very big and from research the tape should have been put on before the plastering took place. Should I be worried?
