Cost for tree surgeon to cut back beech hedging

We have a relative with tall, overgrown beech hedging which needs significant work to cut it back and maintain it. It's too high for us to tackle. We've been told to ask a tree surgeon to do it. How much should we expect to pay for initial work and for ongoing maintenance as we'll need to work it into our budget? I'd say the hedge runs for at least 30 metres.

"Depends on height and depth/width
The cut would most expensive then cheaper for annual maintenance,
I’d prefer to quote in person just to fair to the customer and myself, also explain works more in-depth,"

"Hi Abdul

I hope you’re well & happy New Year.

You can reduce Beech hedging significantly but heavy reductions on on the top or a side at any 1 time.

With regard to cost, it’s hard to give you a price because there are so many variables from job to jo ie. Access, wires and other obstacles, also what our approach will be to cutting it.

However I’ll gladly come and have a look and offer you some advice and email a quote.

I hope this help, many thanks.

"Hi Abdul

The normal process within our industry sector is to either visit the address at a mutually convenient time to both view the work required and to gauge the surroundings for access and safety purposes especially working at height.

If you would like to send over some pictures to our email address i could then possibly help you further.
