  • Plastering after electrical work finished

We're having our electrics chased into the walls and we're worried the plaster repair work afterwards will be obvious. Do you think we should get the rooms skimmed over?

Hello. I have glowworm micron and unvented hw cylinder. I installed a radiator in garage conversion by fitting tees in flow and return pipes just above a boiler. After refilling of system and bleeding pump and all radiators they are not getting warm and boiler is overheating. What may cause that?

    Plastering over a damp wall

Hello. I have a problem with what I believe is penetrating damp on an internal wall. There is no damage to the skirting or the lower part of the wall. The damage seems to be just above waist heigh and is slowly creeping horizontally. It looks like it's just the skim which is falling off. Underneath the skim looks to be cement plaster?. (It's grey and rough) There also seems to be salts being produced making the plaster fall off. What would be the best way to deal with this so I can redecorate. The wall in question has tiles on the opposite side as It's a dry cleaners which originally didn't have tiles and I believe that the tiles are pushing the moisture through to my side of the wall. I really appreciate any help with this problem. Thank you for your time.

cost of adding a cabinet kitchen island in London

My family and I live in London and we’d like to have a cabinet kitchen island added to our kitchen. How much might this cost in terms of the supply and labour costs? We would like an average quality and average-priced product but preferably something stylish and that which will last long.
