    New Driveway Sloping Towards House

Hello I've just had a new driveway put in my 1930's semi and in areas it slopes towards the house. We went with a reputable company and apart from the slope towards the house in places they've done a really good job. As it's 1930's its suspended timber floors so I don't want water flooding underneath it and giving us damp and root in the house. The gradient isn't massive, but it's enough to mean water runs the wrong way towards the house in places We are where we are, clearly lots of issues above. I guess what I need to know what are my options now to rectify this? Couple of suggestions below: 1. Get the company/someone else to angle grind the drive up and retro fit some drainage channels that take the water away (can this be done? how neat can it be done retrospectively)? 2. Fit some sort of thin tile/sloped tile on top of the edging and seal it all like mad so it creates a runaway channel towards the flower bed on the left of some photos TIA BH

    New 16amp 3.6kW oven install

Want a new oven installed. Old one was 13amp connected via plug. Have 6mm cable attached to 40amp on circuit breaker already supplying induction hob. New oven is 3.6kW 16amp. From what I've looked at i think I do not need new wire from circuit board. Is this correct?

advice on large cracks in driveway and fixing it by DIY is achievable

There are several large cracks and holes in my driveway. How easy is this to fix and how can it be done? I’m considering doing the job myself. Is this advisable or am I best off hiring a professional? I’m trying to gauge how difficult this sort of job might be. If I am to perform the work DIY, what sort of cost can I expect any necessary equipment and materials to cost in total? If I am to hire a professional, what might they charge to undertake this work? Are there any additional expenses I should consider?
