    Planning permission

I intend raising the pitch on my garden outhouse (11ft x 7.5ft) to accommodate clay tiles. Originally they replaced asbestos tiles several years ago but the pitch was too low subsequently letting water in, destroying felt and timber within. Now I want to renew the roof using the clay tiles, however have received conflicting advice concerning the need for planning permission. Please can someone clarify the matter for me? Thankyou

30 year old double glazed windows

Whilst the Anglian windows are still perfect the rubber seals are leaving black rubber residue on cleaning cloths and the black rubber coming off stains the external white finishes. A specialist says that the strip seals cannot be replaced due to their specialised profiling. Is there a clear silicone (or whatever) product that I can paint over the black sealing strips to reseal them?

    Bathroom renovation tips

Hi, my partner and I are looking to make our bathroom a bit more luxurious (nothing too la de da haha but just a bit of a flare, you know?). What recommendations do you have in mind for the design and what are the best facilities to change to achieve the ideal results? Should we prioritize changing the bath and shower over say the sink or toilet, as we are also on a budget?
