    Indian Stone / Jointing Compound Staining

    Good morning. I hope that you are well. I am looking for a bit of advice please. We had some Indian Stone paving laid in mid-November 2023. We haven't actually used it, as such yet, as the landscaping work is still ongoing. We have noticed discolouration of the jointing compound / potentially the flags themselves, around some of the flags. As far as we are aware, the tradesmen working on the project have not used any cleaner on the flags. It has just had the occasional jet wash with water throughout the project. Does anyone have any idea as to what the build up / discolouration is please and any advice about how I can go about removing it? The issue is only present around certain flags, not all of them.     Cost of turfing lawn

    The side of my rear garden had a membrane and small stones. The membrane had worn down and weeds took over. Both have been removed ( albeit some small stones in soil) . The ground has been tilled and most weeds removed. Still needs to be made level. . I am trying to work out costs for a turfing option vs seeding. I would like quotes to include a breakdown of cost of turf and labour. The size of the area is approx 100m2. Lawn can be delivered easily to the front. There is side access to the rear garden . There is ample parking with no restrictions.

    Identifying where damp is coming from

    I’m looking for someone to advise where the damp is coming from and if work is needed to rectify problem. It may be coming from the attic where the extractor fan pipe from the bathroom lies. The damp is along a bedroom ceiling where it joins the wall above a window in an 8yr old house.
