"Green Frog Tape has medium tack (slightly less than typical painter's tape), and is safe on most surfaces. Taping off carpet and fully-cured walls are common places to use this version. Yellow Frog Tape is the best choice when needing to mask off anything with a delicate finish.

Yellow frog tape is Specifically designed to work on delicate surfaces such as fresh paint, coated wallpaper and decorative projects, this premium grade masking tape is perfect for when you need a lower adhesion level to help prevent surface damage. "Hi there
Yellow tape is kind of low-tack tape and is good to be used at glass windows when you paint window frame....Green frog tape is a bit more hard tape which offcuts very well all surfaces and doesn't allowed the paint to go below the tape neither of those 2 type of tapes they doesn't allowed the paint to go below the tape and damage the well protected area!"
