    How do i remove cork floor tiles and adhesive?

    I just bought a house and it has cork floor tiles glued down onto the flooring. I've tried scraping them up but they just break into pieces. Is there an easier way to do it? I was advised to use a heat gun but I'm worried the tiles might catch on fire. How much could i expect to pay to hire someone to remove the tiles for me? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
