    Carpet underlay

    Hello, What underlay is good/the best for bedroom provided it is wood floorboards floor, carpet is 12.5mm thick and dense (it has already have that soft and spongy feeling)? Current gap between the floorboards and the door bottom part is about 22mm. There will be some quite heavy furniture (up to 120kg) on small legs, so would be nice to avoid permanent furniture indentation marks, if possible. Thanks!

    Our bath is not draining the water after using, it’s been 2 days and affected our boiler once we found out the pipes join at some point in the drain. We tried to take the pipes under the bath to see what is blocking and was all clean, put then back together and more chemicals for drain clean and still not going down the water. At the moment we have no shower and no heating and a newborn at home 😔 Any idea what could be and who could come to help us to sort it please

    I have carport with consumer unit installed. There is an existing spur run with armoured cable to twin socket in adjacent shed. Sadly there is no lighting circuit. Can I install consumer unit to replace socket and wire lights and couple of socket pairs to replace original spur socket.

    Horn sound when hot tap is turned on

    We keep getting a horn like sound from the pipe when we turn on the hot taps in both upstairs bathroom (mostly from here on shower and sink) and in the kitchen sink. It happens when we first turn it on, and we have to turn the pressure down for it to stop and slowly turn it up and then it's fine we had the boiler serviced recently
