"For a full supply and fit of a new electric panel heater, I’d charge around £200. This can vary depending on quality of heater."

"Hi Lisa,

It would depend on the heater that you wanted but it would likely be somewhere between £180-£250 all in. The area you're in can also have an impact on cost aswell."

"🔌 Labour to fit the electric radiator

If you’re getting an electrician in to hard-wire and mount it safely:

£80 – £180 labour only for a basic fit (1–2 hours)

In London and SE England expect the upper end of that range or a bit higher owing to labour rates

Some trades charge a fixed installation price from about £180 just to fit a heater

🛋️ New radiator supply

A 2 kW electric panel radiator itself typically costs:

Around £90 – £250+ depending on brand, features (timer, thermostat etc.)

📊 Rough Total

Supply + fit of a 2 kW electric panel heater

Budget install (labour only): ~£150 – £300

Typical good install (supply + electrician): ~£250 – £400

Premium (smart thermostat, tidy cable work, isolator, timer programming): ~£400 – £550+

This assumes:

Existing cable reach is adequate

No major alterations to wiring or new circuit

No wall chasing or cutting plaster"

"To replace and fit a 2kW electric panel heater, you’re generally looking at:
Heater supply cost: £120–£300 depending on brand and features (basic panel heater vs. programmable/lot 20 compliant model).
Labour cost: £80–£150 if it’s a straightforward like-for-like swap using the existing supply.
So total installed cost would usually be £200–£450.
If a new fused spur, upgraded wiring, or a new circuit is required, costs can increase to £400–£700+ depending on the work involved.
If you can confirm whether it’s a direct replacement and if there’s an existing fused spur in place, the price can be narrowed down further."

"Base you labour expectation on £75 per hour plus the cost of any materials needed and you won't go far wrong.

Panel heaters are anywhere from £120-£200 plus labour, maybe a new FCU for £15-£20 plus if needed.

Expect quotes for £250-£300 for supply and fit for a reputable brand. Designer brands or glass finish would be priced as a premium"

"They vary in price. It would depend on price of Unit. Installation would be approx £60 once inspection and testing of existing wiring takes place to determine safety of existing electrical supply."
