How much might a roof restoration add to the value of a semi-detached property? Would it depend on the type of restoration and such?

 yes, a new roof could add value to your property depending on the current condition of your existing roof for example if you have an original slate roof with slipped and missing slates installing a new tiled roof with new felt and battens will make the property more valuable and more desirable if you were considering selling.
