Will roof restoration add value to my house?

How much might a roof restoration add to the value of a semi-detached property? Would it depend on the type of restoration and such?

"Hi Jonathan,
yes, a new roof could add value to your property depending on the current condition of your existing roof for example if you have an original slate roof with slipped and missing slates installing a new tiled roof with new felt and battens will make the property more valuable and more desirable if you were considering selling."

"I don’t think it will add value to your property but it will definitely help the transformation and help sell in the future."

"Is the roof slate or tiles all depends on the profit return off what the roof is and if you're doing facias soffits and guttering? But either way, the answer is yes it will bring you a bigger return on the sale of your property if you have an insurance-backed guarantee. That goes with the job 👍"

"A new roof can increase your home's value by improving selling price, selling time and kerb appeal. Not only this, but a new roof can improve the structural integrity and safety of your home whilst you're still living there"
