Why does my shower keep tripping?

Every time I turn the shower on it runs for a bit, then cuts out and trips the electrics. Any idea what might be causing this?

"A shower tripping the electrics is a safety hazard and possible causes include a short circuit, an overload, a faulty heating element, a faulty solenoid valve, or moisture or water ingress affecting wiring. Attempting to fix electrical problems without proper training can be dangerous and should be addressed by a qualified electrician immediately."

"This could be any number of things; Could be overloading the circuit by drawing too many amps for the RCD or MCB to handle.
Could be a faulty shower unit/ or a faulty pull cord isolator.
Or could be as simple as a loose connection or a damaged cable.
You will need to get an electrician with 2391 out to test the circuit."

"Your shower keeps tripping because your element is on the way out and going down to earth I suggest the fit in the shower as this will not last much longer."

When did you first notice this issue?"

"Could be an electrical issue. May also be limescale/mineral build up in the heating element causing a thermal overload. Needs to be tested for both but likely need a new shower or heating element."

"Many issues could be causing this, potentially undersized mcb/rcbo, a fault within the shower itself could also be the reason for he issues."
