Which interior paint should I use?

Is it worth spending a bit more for premium brand emulsion? Is there much difference in the end result from standard or budget brands?

5L dulux = £66
5L crown = 40
5L wickes = £33 ( very good paint )"

"I always buy deluxe paints. The saving of a few pounds does not compensate for the extra time spent having to 2nd or even 3rd coat with cheaper brands."

"If you have a high traffic area like halls and stairs, I'd definitely recommend either a vinal mat or durable. Acrylic durable and acrylic eggshell are cleanable paints and make it worthwhile to spend more on paint and to then give a wipe down now rather than buy cheap paints and then repaint every few months/ year. Buy cheap, you buy twice. I recommend Johnstone cova plus and johnstone acrylic durable."

"Always get a brand name
U will cover the wall or ceiling with 2 coats
A cheap brand will need 3 to 4 costs assists so weak.not a good thick paint like the well known brands.it will cost u double the amount of cheap paint needed stick to crown.dolux.leyland etc.regards steve"
