When should you cut new grass from turf?

We had turf laid about three weeks ago and it's rooted well. When's the right time to give it the first cut? Can't get in touch with the guy who did it right now

"The best time for cutting after laying is between 3-4 weeks once the grass is 6-7 cm tall and fermly rooted to the soil.Lawn mower need to be set rhe highest level and the blades need to be sharp.Enjoy your new lawn."

"Hi. If yr New lawn has taken and bedded in then you can cut yr lawn. But, do Not cut it to yr desired height just yet. Just top it off on yr First cut. Say around 1 inch from its given height. Then leave it for a week. Use some lawn feed liquid you can buy good ones online, but make sure yr watering yr lawn every other evening for at least an hour to give it a good soaking. Other than that you should be all good. Regards, Nielsen Home & Garden Services"

"Regarding the specific gardening advice, generally, you should wait until the grass is about 5cm to 8cm (2 to 3 inches) tall before the first cut. Ensure the turf has rooted firmly so you don't pull it up with the mower."

"I'd say about 4 weeks ,should be strongly rooted by then ,as long as its been watered and fed"

"Usually between 3-4 weeks please make sure first that the soil and the turf is settled by placing one foot onto the lawn if the ground seems soft underfoot then my advise would be to use a plank to spread the weight and a fly mow to prevent unwanted damage such as dips and divets into the lawn."

"You should wait at least 2 to 3 weeks before cutting A fresh laid lawn will need its first cut after 3 weeks. Remember to water it twice a day to make sure it takes well and to stop any shrinkage.MyBuilderWhen can I Start Mowing my New Grass Mow New Turf for the First Time"
