When should you cut new grass from turf?

We had turf laid about three weeks ago and it's rooted well. When's the right time to give it the first cut? Can't get in touch with the guy who did it right now

"The best time for cutting after laying is between 3-4 weeks once the grass is 6-7 cm tall and fermly rooted to the soil.Lawn mower need to be set rhe highest level and the blades need to be sharp.Enjoy your new lawn."

"Hi. If yr New lawn has taken and bedded in then you can cut yr lawn. But, do Not cut it to yr desired height just yet. Just top it off on yr First cut. Say around 1 inch from its given height. Then leave it for a week. Use some lawn feed liquid you can buy good ones online, but make sure yr watering yr lawn every other evening for at least an hour to give it a good soaking. Other than that you should be all good. Regards, Nielsen Home & Garden Services"
