When should I have a monobloc tap?

Hi, I’m thinking of having a new kitchen tap installed (the old one’s been used for years now and I think it’s time for an upgrade). In what circumstances would a monobloc tap make the most sense to have installed? What are the pros and cons of this type of tap?

"A mono block is simpley another version of tap rather than the old fashioned two taps heads .also sometimes it determines on the pressure you have in your kitchen or if you have a combination boiler as some taps are only for low pressure"
