He requested a large deposit, but then repeatedly delayed the work over a number of months. After speaking to Citizens' Advice, I cancelled the contract and requested repayment. He repeatedly promised to return the money but did not do so. I was granted a County Court Judgment against him, but he has ignored this.

Very good service for what turned out to be a difficult job. Would definitely use again in the future.
