What's the best carpet?

We moved in years ago, but finally have the cash to make some changes around the house. What's the best carpet to use in all bedrooms, stairs, hall and landing, and the lounge? Any other tips for us?

"Choosing the right carpet really comes down to comfort and durability. For high-traffic areas like the stairs, hall and landing, a dense twist pile carpet is usually the best option as it’s hard wearing and keeps its appearance well. In bedrooms and the lounge, you can go slightly softer for extra comfort underfoot. Nylon or wool-blend carpets are both great choices depending on budget, and investing in good quality underlay will make a big difference to how the carpet feels and how long it lasts."

Will the carpet your choosing be durable enough for heavy traffic.
Stain resistant such as toddlers dropping or spilling liquids

"The carpet depends on the type, it's nice for the feet, I recommend a thicker one, if you have a pet at home, it's not too hairy, it all depends on how it will be used, the price really doesn't matter here, I know an excellent store where you can buy everything for really not much money. Best regards, Robert Zuk."

"Hi, thanks for your question — and congratulations on your new home!
Choosing the right carpet really depends on how each room will be used, but in general I’d recommend a good quality, medium to high-density carpet as it gives the best balance between comfort and durability.
For living areas and hallways, something hard-wearing like a twist pile or textured carpet works well as it holds up better to foot traffic. For bedrooms, a softer option such as a plush or saxony carpet is great for comfort and warmth.
If you have pets or children, stain-resistant carpets are a smart choice, and darker or flecked colours can help hide everyday marks and wear. Neutral tones are also popular as they keep rooms bright and suit most décor styles.
My main tip would be not to go too cheap — a slightly higher quality carpet will last much longer and look better over time. Also, good underlay makes a big difference for comfort and lifespan, so it’s definitely worth investing in that too."

"There are lots of different ranges and styles. We always prefer the action backed carpets for toughness and 100% polypropylene man made carpets are mostly bleach cleanable also."
