How much does amtico flooring cost fitted?

We're redoing the kitchen and hallway, about 25 square metres all in, and the showroom quoted nearly £70 per square metre before fitting. Is that normal for amtico? Are we wasting our money for a brand name here?

The price you pay for Amtico depends on the range and style you go for, They have straight wood effect tiles to parquet and basketweave, the range also effects the price.
You can get similar products at a much cheaper price, but Amtico is a widely known household name.

Hi, amtico is genuinely just an expensive product. And I would recommend karndean as nearly half the price and very similar.

Amtico is an expensive household name, the cost doesn’t just depend on the range you choose which there are many of, there are a multitude of products on the market some excellent and some very poor, I’d be happy to look at the job as floor preparation will be required and bring you samples of products that we would be happy to supply and install.

Yes  you dont need to go for brand names, but, Karndean and Amtico have been around the longest and have a good reputations. that being said, you can easily find a good product for half the price. As long as  its a reputable store or online store you will be fine. There are cheaper options to amtico.
You could go for LVT witch is a cheaper version

And can start at around £15 per m2

A reasonable guide for supply + fitting would be roughly £2,000–£3,500+ for 25 m², depending on the collection, subfloor preparation, adhesive and fitting pattern.

Depends on the range you choose. Spacia is around £36rrp per sqm and other ranges within amtico go up in price.
As for wasting money, there are lvts on the market that compare in spec to Amtico and are less expensive.
Your get a better deal on product via a sole trader with trade accounts.
