if i need floorboards and floor tiles replacing and a new plasterboard on the pantry ceiling. what trade(s) do i need?

You would need a carpenter, floor layer and plasterer or a general builder maybe able to all of the above

1. A carpenter would normally do flooring.
2. Tiler for floor tiles.
3. Taker for plasterboard.

Having said this most carpenters, builders,multi-traders or handymen could do this.

Multi trade. Sadly all trades think they are multi trades. But really the floor is a carpentry job tiling is a tiler and plasterwork a plasterer. That’s if you want it done correctly. Like all jobs depends if you want it done correctly and lasting or just done to satisfaction as of that time.

A joiner would replace the flooring. But a good tiler would fix the floor before tiling. As for your ceiling a plasterer would deal with this.
