Water running over edge on to exterior wall causing damp patch

Hi I’m looking to get my roof fixed the bad design of build is leaving a damp patch on exterior wall where it is staggered to the neighbours after it has been raining any help or advice would be great thanks in advance

"Would need more information is it a pitched roof or flat roof?
It all depends where the gutter is. Some of these " clever " architect's designed roof gutters on top of walls which created a lot of problems. We have had some success expended roof eaves to keep the gutters outside the building where they should be."
