"Not ok as you won’t get manufacturer guarantee for your roof"

"Hi I don’t recommend using tiles at a pitch lower than recommended this can lead to leaks few years down the line I come across this problem all the time if the pitch is low go with a rubber or grp roof hope this helps"

"Definitely not okay, it would cause a capillary reaction. There are some tiles that go down to ten degrees but a flat roofing system might be the best option."

"I would never recommend doing this, we are experiencing serious storms and high winds more often so I think it is even more important to stick to the guidelines"

"Unfortunately I've had the experience of putting right a previous roofers mistake, extension completely finished both internally and externally, totally strip roof , double felt , counter battening then fairings to increase pitch felt again and retile full roof, so no , big mistake use building regs for all trades and manufacturers guidelines."

"It's not but depending on the tile you can get plastic headlap cover show it can go below too an extent. Once again varies on the tiles you're using"
