"According to BS 7671 and IET guidance, an undercounter freezer should be placed at least 300 mm away from an in-built oven. This prevents heat transfer, ensures efficient cooling, and avoids compressor damage. If space is limited, a heat-insulated barrier must be installed. Always follow manufacturer instructions and ensure proper ventilation for safe and compliant installation."

"At least 3 cm (1.2 inches) between the sides of the appliances.

5 cm (2 inches) or more is better if possible, especially on the oven side, to prevent heat transfer."
