"Yes certainly this can be done with angle beads and a rwskim depending on how far off the walls are then maybe bonding to level or even dot and dab plaster boards but either way isn't a huge problem to complete"

"Yes, it is possible to straighten the edges of a curved chimney breast and achieve a straight, square-edged finish. This is commonly referred to as squaring off the chimney breast edges.
If the curve is minor, this can usually be corrected by fixing metal angle beads to form straight lines, building out the edges with base coat/bonding plaster, and then applying a skim coat for a smooth, clean finish. For more pronounced curves, plasterboarding may be required before skimming.
This is a standard cosmetic plastering process and does not involve any structural work. A competent plasterer should have no difficulty achieving a sharp, straight result.
The cost will depend on the amount of correction required, but as a general guide, this type of work would typically be in the low hundreds of pounds, including materials and labour.
A final assessment is best made once the plaster has fully set and dried to ensure a high-quality, ready-to-decorate finish."

"Yes, it is possible to straighten a curved chimney breast. This is usually done by building out the edges using plasterboard and bonding, then applying angle beads and a full skim to achieve straight, square edges. The cost will depend on the size and condition, but as a rough guide you could expect a few hundred pounds for a plasterer to do the work. It is a fairly common job and can definitely be done."

"Hi, yes - it is possible to straighten the edges of a curved chimney breast and make them square. That work involves removing the curved plaster, fixing plasterboard to build the straight edge, and skimming it smooth."
