Tyrolean render cost per square metre

Question

The tyrolean on the front of our house is cracked and blown in a couple of spots, we're thinking of having the whole lot redone. What sort of price per square metre is normal and is it pricier than standard render?

Tyrolean render is usually more expensive than standard smooth render because it requires a specialist textured finish and additional labour. As a guide, a full replacement typically costs  £100 per m², depending on the condition of the existing render, access to the property and any repairs required beforehand.

If only a few areas are cracked or blown, it may be more cost effective to repair those sections rather than replace the entire façade, provided the remaining render is still in good condition. An on site inspection is the best way to determine the most suitable option.

Tyrolean is based on cement render its very porous and prone to cracking we would replace this with a polymer render and a silicone finish
