Skimming Walls and Ceilings Multiple Rooms
Daniel demonstrated a high degree of unprofessionalism and a severe lack of basic trade skills in plastering, painting, and general construction. Although initially contracted solely for plasterwork, Daniel persistently requested to undertake the painting as well, to which I eventually agreed. The resulting work across the entire property is entirely substandard: Plastering Defects: - None of the walls are level, the wall bases have already begun cracking, and the corners were improperly filled with paint rather than correctly finished. Inadequate Preparation & Execution: - Painting commenced prior to properly treating or repairing the defective plaster. Furthermore, additional coats of paint were applied over uneven surfaces, leaving visible scratches, marks, and clumped paint throughout. Despite repeated assurances that these issues would be rectified, no progress was made. Daniel subsequently abandoned the site for a week citing illness, leaving the keys behind. Upon his return, we inspected the property together; he acknowledged the poor quality of the work and agreed to fix it the following day. However, he subsequently ceased all communication and now refuses to complete the project, despite having already collected the majority of the payment. Due to the unrectified damage, incomplete work, and financial loss, I am pursuing legal action through the courts to recover all losses incurred from the substandard work performed on my property.

Hallway Wallpaper & Paint Job
D&M is a lovely family run business and I can honestly say that Daniel, his father and younger brother have been so AMAZING! Very professional, reliable, worked extra hard on my long hallways it wasn’t an easy job, skimmed the walls down, sanded and painted really well! They also did my bathroom! Very affordable, good quality and I honestly can’t thank them enough 😥 they have been just great. Even my neighbours were snooping around to see what the fuss was all about. I had to write this review as they deserve the five ⭐️ star! 👌🏽
