soffit Damage and potential internal wood damage

Question

The wind blew part of the soffit down Whilst pinning it back up I was concerned to see that some of the internal timbers appeared wet / rotten
What is the best action to take please and how do I go about it

Best option would to have it inspected to see how bad the rot is and get advice on weather it can be repaired or needs to be replaced

It sounds like the breathable felt underneath has rotten away.
Possible new sofits and facia,
And eve trays needs to be fitted.

The best thing to do is to  strip it down and put replacement boards up removing the rotten order I’m replacing it with replacement boards while it stripped down have a lot to see where the water is coming in

Rotten Roof Rafters and wall plates can cause significant damage to the roofs structural integrity!
Rotten wall plates can be cut out and reinstalled with new treated timber, depending on how many rafters are in need of replacement, tiles, felt and batten may need to be stripped and renewed in order to safely replace compromised rafters.
And then ofcourse new barge board and capping board need to be correctly re instated with gutter support treys directly into the gutter.
