Shed base - concrete slab or paving slabs?

I am planning to have a shed built ,size approx 10 x 8ft. How much would I be expected to pay for a concrete slab compared to paving slabs? Would paving slabs be suitable for a shed this size?

"A concrete base would be more stable and cheaper for materials unless you have the slabs then yes slabs are fine to use making sure ground is solid and level"

"• Concrete slab = stronger, more durable (best for long-term, heavy sheds), but costs more — often a few hundred to over £1,000 installed for a 10×8 base.
• Paving slabs = cheaper and can be perfectly fine for this size shed if laid properly on a firm base (sand or compacted hardcore).
• Yes, paving slabs can be suitable, especially for garden storage sheds, but must be level and on good ground prep to avoid sinking."

"Paving slabs will always be cheaper , heavy duty slabs can take the weight of a shed!!"

"Yes paving slabs be fine if laid on full beds, but concrete more substantial and more cost effective unless you have the paving slabs ?"

"For a 10 × 8 ft shed, both options are fine, it really comes down to budget and how solid you want it.

A concrete slab is the strongest and most permanent option. You’re usually looking at roughly £600–£1,000 all in, depending on ground conditions and access. Once it’s done, it won’t move and it’s ideal if the shed is heavy or used as a workshop.

Paving slabs are cheaper and very commonly used for sheds this size. Expect around £300–£600, less if it’s done DIY. As long as the ground is dug out properly and you’ve got a compacted hardcore base with sand, slabs work absolutely fine for a 10 × 8 shed.

So yes, paving slabs are suitable for a shed this size if done properly. Concrete costs more but gives you the most solid, long-term result."

"Paving slabs all the way, unless your going to be converting your shed into a home pub or something similar slabs are more than adequate aslong as they are set on a good hard level base"
