"it would be much easier if you was to set up the area desired to be concreted, infgilled with a bit of MOT type 1. then get some ready mixed concrete and wheel barrow it to the area,

costs on this would typically be around £500 inc labour and the concrete.

the area in total would need .5 of a cube of concrete.

"Hi
You will need dust-14mm ballast not sharp sand.. If you are doing your pad at an average of 100mm thick which is recommended for a base.. you will need approximately 650 kg of ballast ( 1 bulk bag of ballast is your cheapest option.. They are approximately 700kg) and 7/8 bags of cement.. best way to gauge your mix is by bucket 4 buckets of ballast one of cement.. make your mix quite wet so you can level off with a light tamp.. with a rake.. once you start don’t stop till you are done!!
Good luck 🤞🏻"

"don’t use just sharp sand and cement. You need coarse aggregate as well.

The Concrete Society gives 1:2:3 (cement:sand:aggregate by volume) as a general-use mix suitable for shed bases

Cement: 7 × 25 kg bags
Sharp sand: 300 kg
20 mm aggregate: ~500–600 kg
Water: roughly 80–90 litres, but add gradually rather than all at once"

"Θέλετε μισό κυβικό περίπου άμμος,, εξαρτάται από το πάχος που θέλεις να έχει ή βάση.. Και το τσιμέντο είναι μια καλή αναλογία 1 τσιμέντο προς 6 άμμος. Μιλάμε για ένα πάχος 10cm"

"For an 8ft × 6ft shed, you’ll need about 4.5m2 of base. A 100mm concrete slab would need around 0.45m3 of concrete. I’d use a proper hardcore sub-base underneath and rather than just sand and cement you’ll want a good quality ballast and cement dust."

"Well depending on the depth of your base is not possible to calculate what you need but if you want a strong base I would do it with a 3 x 1 mix that is 3 bags of sharp sand and 1 bag o cimente good luck enjoy your project"

"For a 50mm Sand cement dry mix you would need approximately 400kg of sand to 100kg of cement at a 4:1 Ratio.
I would recommend a 100mm sub base of Mot Type 1 compacted below this to eradicate the chance of any slab movement for that you would need approximately 1 tonne."
