Replacing asbestos garage roof

I'm having an old asbestos garage roof removed. What lightweight alternative is best in terms of cost and durability to reroof it?

"I would suggest 0.7 mm box profile metal sheets. With a polyester or pvc coating. With an anti condensation lining."

"I would advise a grp roofing system.
Might cost a little more but will last a lot longer. Has better durability and can be walked on too."

"First you have to get specialist in to remove the asbestos and my advice would be to use tapco slate which are very light and durable there is no cheap way"

"The best and most cost effective way is plastosol profile sheeting. The cost of removing the asbestos is quite expensive. The best way if you want to save the cost of removal is to overclad it. Apply new timber frame to allow the fixture of new
profile sheets. But bare in mind some people want the asbestos to be removed for
Safety purpose. Check the sheets are asbestos and not fibre sheets."

"bitumen corrugated sheets work really well I've used on jobs quite a lot this last 24 months, hope this will help"

"Depends what garage is used for plastic coated metal is cheap and lightweight as long as you don’t use a tumble dryer etc ina garage"
