Leaking skylight repair cost

Water is getting in around the skylight in the kitchen extension whenever the rain is heavy and the plasterboard around it is staining now. What does a repair cost? And what is actually the problem?

Depends on what type of skylight you have for example is it a velux or roof light is it on a flat roof or pitched roof any tradesmen would need to have a look at it.

There are many possibilities with this issue. Totally dependant on the roof system used, the age of skylight and the sealing methods used. I would book a consultation with a roofer to physically go up and inspect the skylight and give you a report. Be aware that there may be a fee to get up on the roof to examine thoroughly.
