Rebuilding a dry-stone wall that's come down

Tree roots have brought down our dry-stone wall. We're considering paying for it to be rebuilt around the tree and its roots but does this run the risk of it falling down again in the near future?

"Yes it will repeat as the roots will grow 3 times as long as the tree height.

It is recommended to dig deeper to provide a concrete footing approx 75cm down or remove the tree of you want stability to your wall."

"Hi, If your thinking of re-building a dry stone wall, first remove the tree stumpstumps kill off the root, this can be done we use spirits of salts, but be careful its a form of acid, then install a foundation of concrete, prior to build the wall."

"One of the good ways to take care of your wall fence and your tree. It is to keep your tree trimmed and healthy, because, how far go your tree branches, the same distance will grow the tree roots."

"If you cut the roots out and fill between the stonework with mortar it will make it stronger but to be honest it would be better brought down and roots cuts completely and rebuild wif semi dry between the stone work and it will never move."
