We're buying a 1950s bungalow and the surveyor has recommended an asbestos survey before we commit. What do they cost for a three bed?

"This depends of a few things, the area as different surveyors charge in different council areas. Also if it’s an intrusive survey these will be a bit more. Best thing to do is contact 3/5 local surveying companies and ask them to quote this shouldn't cost you anything."

"It costs around £180-£250 for a survey obviously removing asbestos costs alot more but they can generally do the survey the same day"
