Plaster Skimming
All the walls and ceiling been plastered and after drying out very quickly you can see hairline cracks everywhere on the walls. Although ceiling is ok but Within 12hours cracks appeared, on the walls plasterer said its normal to have cracks as it a was hot day and plaster dried up quickly. He said he can’t do anything,,and said just sand it down and when you will paint it 2-3 layers of the paint will close the cracks. I asked him if it falls off, Or if it shows under the paint , he said it would not falloff and show off, trust me I am doing this trade for 25 years, he said you can call me if it’s fallen off, but I can’t do anything else now. I paid him £££££, what he asked for,I hope he hasn’t fooled me or let me down, otherwise I wouldn’t be able to trust anyone in the future . He was very quick and fast, polite man though but I don’t know if he has prepared the walls properly first or not, Because it will not happen if the walls were sealed with pva or uni bound as always advised before plastering, I have asked him to give me the receipt, I didn’t get it ,

External Rendering
Jon was very professional and a really nice person. We were delighted with the rendering he did on a wall in our garden and it has completely transformed the area. He was witty and polite. Highly recommended.
