How do I plant a hedge tree? Is this easy to do or should I hire a professional? And will I need planning permission?

"This is easy enough to do your self dig hole if it’s potted put straight into hole then cover with soil and keep doing this all the way down your hedge line if it’s bare rooted I would dig some compost into the soil before filling the hole. And place every plant at about 100cm gaps if it’s privet hedge I would double the plants and lay 2 rows and on second row place in middle of gaps"

"Depending on the size of the hedge or tree plant it away from fence an sheds an house as the roots will spread dig the hole about 2foot deep so you can be sure you got a firm base for it an won't fall over keep it well watered once planted"
